Today has been a wonderful day.
The boys and I went to the park before school time, so they could get their wiggles out! It was a SUCCESS. By the time we got back home, they were calm and focused enough to complete their schoolwork!
As some of you may or may not know, my Father passed away on September 23, 2017. He was a healthy individual, and it was totally unexpected.
Here lately, I have been reading a lot of stuff to focus on the GOOD things in life. I’m kind of letting grief just happen.. Job in the Bible has definitely caught my attention at this moment. I’ve read it before, but now I see his experience differently, not that I have lost someone very near and dear to me. Grief is such an interesting process. At one moment, I’m sobbing in the shower, and at another moment I’m just fine. I know this is a new season in my life. To tell you the truth, I am clinging to the truths that I know about God.
Maybe you have experienced the loss of a loved one too, or maybe you are going through something where you need to be reminded of who God is and how faithful He is. Whatever it is, you and I can walk this road together, trusting in His good plan and unfailing love to see us through.
He is all knowing and nothing takes Him by surprise.
